My excursion to Athens initially began in Chicago at ORD. We touched base in Philadelphia at 11am however our flight was not until 4pm. So we left the air terminal, got a taxi and advanced toward downtown Philadelphia. We went to the Liberty Bell and had a cheesesteak at Gino’s. We then advanced back to the PHL air terminal.

Cheesesteak at Gino’s. Delicious!!
We went to Terminal A West which had a good sized lounge. When we entered the lounge, we were given two drink tickets each and the code to the WIFI. The lounge has an area for espresso, some soup and a vegetable bar. There was nothing appealing here to eat.

Plenty of seating available in the lounge

Vegetable Spread
I then advanced toward the bar and got a few beverages. They had two bartenders at the bar and the staff there was benevolent. The lounge has a business center with two PCs, smaller than usual work areas and a printer.

Small Business Center in the Lounge
We advanced toward the gate. There was a 1 hour delay for a mechanical issue so we needed to hold up in the gate waiting area. When we were at long last let in for boarding, the gate agents made a lackluster display with regards to reporting who was prepared to board. It was a debacle.

A330 16 Year Old Plane
The American Airlines Business Class arrangement on the A330 is 1-2-1 so everybody has a path to get to the aisle which is awesome. This business class product was formerly a U.S Airways plane. I picked seats 2C and 2D. These are extraordinary for couples.

My seat for the flight. Seat 2C
The hard seat was great. The seats were wide and the TV size was great. There was an AC control space and USB port, reading light and control for the IFE framework. The IFE framework has a decent determinations of films, TV shows, amusements and a flight map. The table plate was a decent size. The main awful thing about the seat was that there was not a considerable measure of capacity to store things.

The journey from PHL to ATH
The service was fair. It was about what you would expect for a U.S transporter. The American Airlines flight attendants were proficient and amicable however not over the top like some of the top carriers. You were give a fundamental amenity kit yet an immense addition to it was that it was a leather kit from Cole Hahn. Extremely pleasant!

Keeping it classy with orange juice
For supper, I had the almond crusted chicken. It was tasteless and not great by any means. The mint chocolate chip ice cream was heavenly yet it’s difficult to botch up dessert. The breakfast including the omelette, potatoes and a cinnamon bun was delicious.

Hello Athens!!
In general, the hard product is incredible. The screens are huge, seats are wide, everybody has a path to get in and out and I got some great rest. A portion of the cons was the average service, and absence of capacity for storage in the seat. Be that as it may, in the event that you ever fly the A330 American Airlines business class, you are in for a decent flight!
Happy Travels!
